Front Systems POS on Mac

It is possible to use the Front Systems POS app on Mac and MacBook with M1 processor.

If you want to use the cash register actively for several tasks and applications simultaneously, then a Mac with a large screen, computer mouse and keyboard will be a suitable choice. 

What type of Mac can I use?

All Macs that have an Apple M1 processor (not Intel) or newer can be used on both laptops and desktops.
NOTE: Front Systems do not sell Macbooks, keyboard or computer mouse. This has to be obtained from an Apple Apple Mac retailer.

Which receipt printer can I use?
You must use the Star receipt printer purchased from Front Systems.
Cash drawer and barcode scanner are connected to the Start receipt printer.
The receipt printer connects to the network and the Mac must be connected to the same network with either network cable or WIFI.
