Gift cards & Vouchers

Gift cards and vouchers that have been issued or redeemed in Front POS are registered in Portal.

To view all these gift cards and vouchers, navigate to Sales and select Gift cards & vouchers.

In this article you will learn how to lookup and redeem gift cards and vouchers.

Lookup gift cards and vouchers

In this section:

• Search for a gift card / voucher
• Filter the list of gift cards / vouchers list

Search for a gift card / voucher

Do the following:

• Select Gift card or Voucher (whichever is relevant) in the top-left corner.
• If you have the gift card ID/voucher ID (found on the sales receipt/return receipt), enter that in the gift card /voucher ID field.

Filter the list of gift cards / vouchers list

Do the following:

• Select Gift card or Voucher (whichever is relevant) in the top-left corner.
• If you know the approximate date, enter the date and choose the relative date filter to include a range of date values, such as, Exactly or +/- 1 to 3 weeks / 1 month.
•  

• You can also narrow down your search by selecting the relevant store the gift card / voucher was issued in.
• Select the Active radio button to view only the active gift cards / vouchers.

In the example below, you can see all gift cards +/- one month of 01.09.2020 for the store Demo Syd.

Redeem gift cards / vouchers

Gift cards and vouchers must be redeemed using Front POS.

1. Navigate to Sales and then select Gift cards & vouchers. 
2. Find the relevant gift card / voucher.
3. Click Redeem. The gift card / voucher will then be deactivated. 

Export gift cards and vouchers

Click Export on Gift cards page to retrieve all the active gift cards, i.e., unused or partially used gift cards.

All vouchers can be exported in the same way.
