Here is a list of possible solutions for login issues:
You dont have access to Portal.
Contact your manager and ask if you have been given the correct access to Portal, and if your user has been created and been sent an invitation.
You haven't accepted the invitation to user Portal.
If your manager has sent you an invitation, you have to accept the invitation sent to your email address. When the invitation has been accepted, your user should say Active.
Wrong username or password.
If you have typed the wrong email address (username) or password. Double check if this is the registered email. If you've forgotten your password, hit "Forgot password?".
