Create Reservation in POS
This allows customers to set aside items they want to purchase later. Items can be reserved at the current store or any other store that has it in stock.
To reserve an item, follow the steps below:
1. Search for the product you want to reserve.
2. View the product details to check availability. This involves verifying that the quantity you want to reserve is available in stock.
3. If the item is available, then Reserve it.
4. Complete the Reservation by providing customer details.
5. Once done, customer should receive an SMS confirming the reservation.
N.B.
If the quantity of items to be reserved is zero or less, then reservation cannot be made.How to process an item that has been reserved in your store?
1. To retrieve the reservation, navigate to More > Orders.
2. Lookup the relevant order and locate the reserved items in the store.
3. Pick items using your barcode scanner or the camera. Once done, swipe left on the product line and mark as Picked.
4. Once the items in the order are picked, tap Mark as ready for pickup to let the customer know that their reserved items are ready for pickup.
5. Complete the transaction by tapping Add to cart for payment.
How to view all the reservations made in Front Systems POS
Reservations made in Front POS can be accessed through the Flow of Goods menu in Portal.
