How to use generic coupons codes

You can enter coupon codes directly in the POS, without linking the coupon to a specific customer. The code is entered or scanned at payment, and several codes can be used on the same transaction. All codes used are registered on the sale and shown on the receipt.

How to set up the feature

1. Turn on the feature "Enable generic coupon codes" under POS settings in Portal. This can be enabled at Company, Region, Store or POS level.
   
2. Create a discount with the desired coupon code, for example "SUMMER20".

How to use the coupon code at the POS

1. Start a sale. 
2. Tap "More".
3. Select "Coupon code".
   
4. Enter or scan the coupon code, for example "SUMMER20".

Repeat steps 2–4 if you want to add more codes to the same sale.
