How to apply a discount

In this article, you will learn how to apply discounts on a sale transaction. 

• Apply discount on an item
• Apply total discount

Apply discount on an item

1. Start a +New sale and scan items.

2. Tap the item you want to apply the discount on.

3. Select Discount in the dialog box.

4. To give a percentage discount, tap % and enter the percentage value.

5. To give a fixed amount discount, tap Amount and enter the discount amount to be applied.

6. To set a custom price, tap New Price and enter the desired value.

7. Tap Done.

8. The discount will now be applied to the sale.

Apply total discount

To give a total discount on all saleslines, do the following:

1. Start a +New sale and scan items.

2. Tap More... and then Total discount.

3. Enter the desired value and tap Done.

4. The discount will now be applied to the sale.
