In this article, you will learn about the different stock settings.
Region & Currency:
The default currency is specified based on the region selected.
Allow direct transfers:
With a direct transfer, when an item moves from one store to another, the stock level is updated immediately in the store that has transferred the item and the destination store.
Use stock specific cost:
Cost per Stock is beneficial for companies with multiple locations, where different stores may acquire the same products at varying landed costs (which include the purchase price, freight, currency exchange, taxes, and other associated fees).
Calculate average cost:
Average cost reflects the actual average price a merchant has paid for goods over multiple purchases. This method is ideal for businesses that purchase the same items across multiple seasons, where the cost of goods may change with each purchase. It is also well-suited for those who receive varying discounts from suppliers, which can impact both input prices and the overall cost of goods.
Enable print before reception:
This setting applies to Planned delivery. When toggled ON, you can print labels per item for deliveries that have been ordered but not received.
Enable RFID:
This setting must be disabled for customers using Barcodes only.
Show Stockshelf:
This is intended for those customers who sell shoes. For every product in catalog, you can select which shelf the shoe box should be placed on.
Show in product info:
When checking stock availability via Frontzapp, user can view the inventory on a product, provided that the setting is enabled on relevant stocks.
