In this article, you will learn how to pre-register goods and receive them once they are delivered to your store.
Pre-register goods to be delivered
To register goods that are yet to be delivered, follow the steps below:
Receive goods that have been delivered
When the goods have arrived in store, do the following to start receiving:
- Navigate to Deliveries (Flow of goods > Deliveries).
- Select the relevant delivery and click Receive inventory to receive the goods.
There are three different ways to receive goods:
Receive the entire delivery
Do the following:
1. Select the checkbox next to Select all.
2. Click Update Inventory.
All the goods in the delivery are now received and added to stock.
Receive only few orderlines
Say, for instance, you have physically received only a partial shipment of goods.
If you wish to receive only those goods and not the entire delivery, then do the following:
1. Select the check box on the orderlines you would like to receive.
2. Click Update inventory.
The selected goods are now received and added to stock.
Receive only a few sizes on an orderline
If you have received only a few sizes on a product, do the following:
1. Find the relevant orderline and enter the quantity you have received on each size.
2. Click Update inventory.
The number of items you have received will now be added to stock. The remaining items can be received later when they arrive at the store.
N.B.
When a delivery has been fully or partially received, additional products cannot be added. To do so, you must create a new delivery.Orderlines that have been received are hidden to have a better overview of those that are not yet received. (This is convenient when you have a delivery with several orderlines.)
To see completed orderlines, click 'Show Completed'.
